Read Write Inc. Phonics

Developed by Ruth Miskin, Read Write Inc. Phonics is a high-impact phonics programme that transforms reading and writing for every child. Read Write Inc. Phonics is for children learning to read in Reception (P1) and Years 1 and 2 (P2 and 3), and for struggling readers in Years 3 and 4 (P5 and 6).

Like all phonics schemes, it teaches children the sounds in English, the letters that represent them, and how to form the letters when writing. Read Write Inc. Phonics includes reading books written using only the letters they have learnt at each level (and a small number of separately taught tricky words).
