IGCSE GCSE Subjects

The IGCSE (International General Certificate of Secondary Education) is based on the British curriculum (GCSE) but adapted for a more internationally-focused student body.

The IGCSE was developed by University of Cambridge International Examinations in 1988, and candidates can sit examinations in over 120 countries.

IGCSE provides a broad and flexible study programme and covers subjects from a variety of areas such as: Languages, Humanities, Sciences, Mathematics, Technical and Vocational. Over 70 subjects are available, including more than 30 language courses.

Assessments are done through the exam board of the school’s choice, the two most well-known exam boards being Cambridge Assessment International Education and Edexcel.

Below you’ll find our carefully curated and comprehensive lists which are organised by GCSE subject – these allow you to find textbooks and all the study and revision material you need to successfully pass your GCSEs.
