Word Sparks

Word Sparks is a series that combines explicit emphasis on vocabulary with systematic synthetic phonics practice. With a diverse range of titles, characters, authors and illustrators across fiction and non-fiction, it will enable children to encounter experiences and appreciate people that may be less familiar to them.

This series introduces new vocabulary at the same time as developing decoding skills, fluency and comprehension. It is also aligned to Letters and Sounds Sets to help match phonics teaching and practice.
